What paths are available for extremely divergent people to walk out of isolation?

Throughout my life I have found that pursuing authenticity and learning about myself and the world around me has consistently lead to an increase in alienation and isolation from other people. This is not a result that I have ever wanted. Usually when I ask for help with this issue I am offered suggestions to change myself to be more like others. To me, this seems to corrupt the goal of authentic connection and replaces it instead with pursuit of feeling belonging regardless of authenticity. As I have already explored the option of pursuing belonging without authenticity when I was younger and did not find it rewarding or conducive to mutual benefit within social groups in general, and since I like who I am quite a lot, I don’t see a sufficient reasoning or trajectory presented to me for trying to change myself to solve this issue of isolation and alienation. I’m not trying to exclude the fact of continued growth through life but that seems different to me than intentionally trying to modify myself for the sole purpose of fitting in.

In the conventional associations of the culture around me, I am considered to be neurodivergent in multiple ways, though the terminology that people use to describe that (autism, schizotypal personality disorder, and persistent depression) doesn’t effectively explain to me the differences that seem to actually represent incompatibility between myself and others. When I have tried previously to describe the incompatibility that I see more specifically (difference between seeing a causal universe and a united one, difference between emotional evaluation of life and relational evaluation of life, difference of perspectives on where the edges of sufficiency, progress, and degeneration are), it doesn’t seem like my attempts to communicate have been successful.
Without knowing how to effectively communicate with the people I’ve so far encountered, and without being part of any social group or meaningful relationships, I don’t know what remains for me to try in order to stop the isolation and pursue the things that matter to me in life: mutually beneficial relationships aligned with truth, ecological succession, and the water cycle.

This is an attempt to summarize what I think the problem that I am facing is, for the sake of providing context as to why I am making this post.

What I’d like to request responses to/discussion of is: What paths or methods, if any, do you know of that people who persistently did not fit into any social groups have found to change their circumstances and become part of mutually beneficial relationships and/or communities?
Thanks for your consideration.

Shalom

I’m in the same boat as well. I personally don’t think a community exists like that for those like us. As for a mutually beneficial friendship, that is more attainable but will still have its idiosyncrasies that ebb and flow as scenarios and circumstances drastically change with both new belief systems and also STRONGLY dependent on if said people are heavily or even partially influenced by any amount of pop culture.

Case in point. I abstain from all pop culture. So most people cannot relate to me. I abstain from pop culture because I realize that it is corrupt and a device used to distract everyone and divide them. Abstaining from pop culture aligns with my belief system which is in Biblical grounds but is more about the original scriptures in Aramaic language instead of English. So if you’re say, someone who doesn’t align with a certain belief system that those around you align with then it is either going to be that you find commonality or you’re going to have conflict.

I live with what has been labeled attention deficit disorder. However I have found that in the right natural or artificial supportive environment that I thrive. For instance. The world that has been warped around us is heavily centered around non artistic “education systems” that according to science would be a left brain hemisphere style of “learning”. This system makes for a more non emotional and more obedient and analytical “individual” being produced. In other words it makes for very effective workers that think that success is only through material gain and math and science are everything and that the money is the only powerful thing you can obtain. Whereas then there are the so called right brain hemisphere “individuals” that are more imaginative and are into making expressive ways of communicating either through physical representation using materials or through mental communication through deep conversations of experiencing the WHOLENESS of something rather than just the parts. For a vivid example of this. On my walks on the “nature trail” I take in and enjoy the presence of the other lives that share this existence with me and I take the time to closely look at the beauty of everything around me rather then just using the natural setting as a background for me to ride my bicycle through while listening to something in headphones and completely bypassing all the intricacies that are senses are here to sense. The latter of the example just given is the majority of whom I witness while on the trail. The time is money grind people who are hustling to make bank and this is their little “de-compressor” before they go meet with their “clients” again or get ready for a conference call with the CEO of a big company.

Both of these example have their folly. One is too stringent and the other is so unfocused on imaginative “visions” that they are constantly searching for something they’ll never find. That something missing is a connection with the one who created us and by living by his example and being of service to all around you instead of self serving, you by and large become fulfilled. You become even more fulfilled when you get into prayer and seek your creator with an open an honest heart with all your strength. But to deny your creator is to deny yourself. And no “ the universe” and “ nature” are not the creator. They are what has been creaTED.

In summary. To find what who you’re looking for. You first have to accept that you’ve been created and that all around you has as well. Then you need to pray and get into connection with the one who created you. His name is YAHUAH. But none comes by the Father ( Elohim ( means Father )< — in Aramaic ) except by the Son whom name is YAHUSHA. These are the names given in the original scriptures before they were corrupted by the Catholic and Christian churches.

Peace be with you

By the way I checked out your website and music. I like your music.

I don’t see how “accepting” that I’ve been created relates to finding what or who I’m looking for. That seems like yet another example of people telling me to change myself to be more like them. I personally do not believe that creation, in a literal sense, is a coherent notion. The set of all things includes time and therefore the universe/the set of all things does not occur on a timeline. Difference across time, like difference across space, is expressive within the universe. Form is an expression of possibility/necessity as related difference in incomplete memory of unity, not an expression of competing independent forces that create things. I do not believe in any source or origin of the universe, at all. I think things are inherent, and nothing has any origin, in the most literal sense. Of course this is usually hard to discuss with people because the metaphor of cause and effect is so fundamental to the language that people use, and people view it as an accurate depiction of reality rather than a metaphor, but correlation is not causation. The set of all things is not related to anything outside of itself because it is the set of all things. Creation is without any doubt an impossibility, in an ontological sense.

I certainly WISH that it was possible for the universe to have been a byproduct of intelligent design and intention, because then surely many things that do exist would not exist (like agriculture, the economy, the rule of law, lies, slavery, war, rape, etc.). Unfortunately, what exists is what is possible/necessary, not what should be.

Anyway, if I were to do what you said, then I would be pursuing inauthentic connection, because the idea of creation is not compelling to me at all and does not in any way represent me being authentic in relation to other people or the world around me. Authenticity for me is about recognizing my place within unity and having the level of understanding and awareness that I am capable of, which is incompatible with all narratives of war/freedom/control/independence/creation. It is also about representing myself as accurately as I can to try to give other people the opportunity to know who I am and not be misled.

also have you ever tried singing the vowel mouth shapes blended together in the order: E A I O U O I A E ?
not necessarily important but something interesting that I’ve noticed related to recursive patterns expressed as sound and word

Our “self” is not so much a thing when you really think about it. It has always taken others around us to make us into what we express in the current and continuing form. There is still the essence of life. If we are going to talk about about impossibilities, I would first like to start out with implausibilities. It’s implausible that we as labeled as a '“race” could advance as quickly as we have in technological destructive ways and only have those ways be being used for nefarious reasons unless there was the Possibility that there is in effect some things that do come into content in the general sense of things we learned in the system. Such as the rule of opposites. Good and bad and dark and light for instance. Yes there is varying contrast in both examples but it doesn’t match when lined up against two variables. The two variables at ends are those that most of the time are on tell lies vision ( tv ) and also radio and any form of entertainment ( or what I call enter contrainment ). And then there are those that are called by that variable the “ consumers”. So now we have those making what is consumed and those consuming. Variable identify as actors and stay in “ character” on screen and off screen and play out agenda based schemes to the consumers. In a non creator believing thought process we call this a parasitic relationship. In a creation believing thought process we call this bad versus good. In the non believing thought process it is a symbiotic relationship but a necessary one for the cycle of life. In a creation believing thought process it is slavery and that those that are victims are in need of a savior. I’m asking you to consider that the intelligent design that I believe in and the intention behind it could be larger than our comprehension. After all things are so complex around us that we cannot possibly understand every fine detail. The Bible talks about every plant an animal according to its kind. We can see that that in the case and that there is an order. There is clearly visual design in everything according to its kind. Yes all is unique according in its kind as well being that we are not all replicas of each other. But there is definitely a design in the look of each category of animal and plant and the rest.

I would like to ask you to take a look at the first chapter of the bible ( Genesis ) and see how with a creator the expression is everything being spoken into existence. How it is in perfect articulation. This all relates to your original question because if you are to realize that there is a creator. Then asking what you are looking for from him may prove validating. He knows that you’re skeptical and or even opposed to his existence. That’s why it’s about reaching out and letting him be known to you. It’s a personal relationship. Anyone of us can be being misled. We shouldn’t be afraid of exploring the possibilities.

It’s definitely interesting with the sound patters in it. And yes for sure an almost spelling of something. I have yes. I definitely think there is something more to it than just words. I believe what we speak in conjuring in many ways.

Well this is getting off topic of the post… but selves are a thing, they just aren’t independent, in my view. The self is a localized experience of part of the whole: the many is an expression of the one.
I am familiar with Genesis, and I find some parts of it more interesting than others. I simply know there is no possibility of a creator of the universe, and honestly I don’t find the idea philosophically sincere because it falls apart under even the most basic scrutiny. The fundamental nature of being is not complex. Obviously on a more local scale you could try to claim that there is some entity that created life on Earth in the same way that a human creates a piece of art (and that is totally possible but I don’t have any conclusive evidence to support it or disprove it so it doesn’t exactly have a practical application in my life), but both of those descriptions would ultimately be expressions of inherency, neither are examples of a genuine origin of phenomena. I have explored the things you’re talking about in great detail and I find the conclusions that other people draw from them to be very lacking and not well thought out. Even if there was some entity that created life on Earth (but not the universe as a whole) - in the metaphorical sense of creation as it would be used to describe a human creating something - I would obviously be open to interacting with them and I have reached out for that during meditation before but the resulting experience definitely had nothing to do with the idea of the universe having an origin. The dreams and visions that resulted from that, if they were more than conjurations of my mind, were more like simply interacting with one of another type of life form, which utilized a form of communication that is very unlike verbal language and after years of processing that experience it seems to be more of an art form that they would have been using to broadly represent relational existence within unity.

The idea that the universe is a war is wrong, and that narrative is the core human misunderstanding that provides a foundation for the corruption that is ongoing in the world today. Belief in creation is a misunderstanding of the relational existence of life.

But anyway, I don’t think this topic is related to what I originally was posting about, because I was asking about how to develop interpersonal relationships with humans - despite fundamental differences in perspective that have so far lead to being rejected by every social group and “individual” I’ve experienced - relationships based on working together towards creating healthy environments and lifestyles, towards giving children opportunities to grow up without becoming enslaved to the economy, towards creating communities that can act as a seed to sprout into a new type of culture after the inevitable collapse of this cult that currently dominates our species. “Prayer”, or whatever you want to call it, is something I have explored and it has never lead to any meaningful change in the circumstances of my life.

I find myself in a very similar situation and it’s getting to the point where I don’t even know where to look. This type of environment is exactly what I thought ‘churches’ and ‘religious communities’ are supposed to be, and maybe there are somewhere. I just haven’t had any luck. Personally, I’ve found myself in a difficult and even dangerous situation, and I’m hoping to find some type of community/work exchange program that will help me get back on my feet. Naturally, you would think that family and friends are supposed to be people that you can trust, but in my case it’s the opposite. It’s like my desire to be authentic triggers their ego and their ego is so fragile that it automatically makes me their enemy. I’ve officially outgrown my old life and it’s like I’m being propelled forward into the unknown with nothing but God himself.

That’s a good place to be. With The Father himself. Pray to him and ask him to come into your heart and make himself known to you. Tell him you would like a personal relationship with him and that you need him to the the Shepherd of your life because you are a lost sheep in the wilderness. This is the best time to reach out to him. When there are no other options except for him. There is nothing in this world that is going to be what you’re looking for. This is a fallen world and that is what he said would happen in these days and we are seeing it everywhere we look. It’s not a matter of me being right or wrong about this. It’s in plain sight all around you. Even the Euphrates river has dried up as YAHUAH ( original name for the creator ) said it would. So the literal prophecy happened. Nobody comes to the Father except by the son YAHUSHA ( pronounced YAH UW SHA ) that is the original name before it was changed to Jesus by the greeks and the the Romans with the Catholic church. Don’t go to him through the Church. Go directly to him if you are sincere about wanting a personal relationship with him. He’s the only way to salvation. The only way out of this that we are in. The Truth, The Life, The Way. Peace be with you.
