Indigene Community, all humanity's worldwide 'indigenous' (Latin 'self-generating') heritage. Community is inside us all

Cultivate your DREAM-COMMUNITY, where you already live & work. Remember that dreams are best understood through the emotion/feeling/spirit stirred within us & not necessarily the people, events or circumstances, which may be unknown to us at the time. Indigenecommunity.info has posted a set of social, economic & distributed-governance procedure, which help people everywhere, reconnect & heal with humanity’s Great-Spirit. In order to make ‘community’ (Latin ‘com’ = ‘together’ + ‘munus’ = ‘gift-or-service’) work for any of us, we need to provide the human-resource tools & economic opportunity for everyone. At the same time as renewing our own indigeneity, we as well join-with, connect-with, collaborate & learn-from those remaining 1st Nation peoples who have kept the Intentional Community knowledge & spirit alive.
All humanity’s worldwide ‘indigenous’ (L. ‘self-generating’) ancestors on every continent & nation, intentionally organized & lived in one form or another of the ~100 (50-150) person MULTIHOME-DWELLING-COMPLEXES (eg. Longhouse-apartment, Pueblo-townhouse & Kanata-village).
Such intentional ‘community’ proximity provides intimate, intergenerational, female-male, interdisciplinary, critical-mass, economies-of-scale. Today 70% of people worldwide, live in Multihomes with an average 32 dwelling-units or ~100 people. 20% of Multihome Dwellers live intentionally in extended-family proximity for social & economic MUTUAL-AID. (listed on the IndigeneCommunity.info website)
Most of us who are institutionally immersed in colonial hierarchal heritage have lost connection to our ancient indigenous community cultural heritage, so Indigene Community provides a broad set of indigenous knowledge about the ‘economy’ (Greek ‘oikos’ = ‘home’ + ‘namein’ = ‘care-&-nurture’) & social practices, which enabled all our indigenous ancestors to cultivate community for many 10s of 1000s of years, described in the Indigenous CIRCLE-of-LIFE. If you have 1st Nation contacts, friends, family etc., these can help in what is now our collective human search to reconnect. 3) INDIGENOUS CIRCLE OF LIFE - Indigene Community
While artificial urban & suburban relationships & environments, where most of us live, are suffocating, they also hold significant ‘keys’ to community’s long term ecological sustainability. Rather than fleeing to the country over those highways & plane-flights, consider joining your ancient heritage & Indigene Community (at least in spirit) wherever you live for cultivating social & economic tools for everyone, everywhere, here & now. The 1st step in indigenous community is to know-who-we-are-? ie who your extended family, neighbours, workmates & local businesses are & how we can all work together to build Dream-community for everyone in RELATIONAL-ECONOMY (listed on the IndigeneCommunity.info website)
DO-WE-KNOW-WHO-WE-ARE-? a Community-Economy web-software for Multihome animists to help people celebrate who they are individually & together. Humanity’s worldwide indigenous modelled, web-based Community Economy is transformed into a web software program so average residents & neighbours can easily: 1) CATALOGUE our individual & business talents, goods, services, resources & dreams as complementary-talents, 2) MAP collaborative relationships, 3) ACCOUNT for transactions & contributions, 4) COMMUNICATE locally /c record keeping, agreement/ contract development, bridge building & conflict resolution among family, friends & neighbours. Our Web-Software programmers have developed Do-we-know-? so each person’s specialized gift becomes an expert capable asset/value for the Multihome community & society at large. When communities show their strengths & leadership, then government gladly follows. https://sites.google.com/site/indigenecommunity/structure/9-do-we-know-who-we-are

@Douglas_Jack, we have some suggestions for you that we think will help other forum members engage with your topic.

  • Try editing your topic to include more paragraph/line breaks so that it’s easier to read
  • Try asking some clear questions, making a direct offer, or stating openly what kind of conversation you want to have with other forum members — right now, it’s not clear what kind of engagement you’re hoping to have!
  • It looks like this is a direct copy/paste from your project’s website, and you may have more success at starting a conversation if you share a link and then talk about why in your topic, rather than using the exact content from your website.

Elsbeth,
I wrote an email asking for information about how to edit on the IC Forum page, as well as difficulty following your excellent editing examples but the IC Forum web-posting response & email are both rejected by your server, stating “You cannot post a link to this host” even after the links have been removed.
