We tend to forget that nature genetically modifies organisms too. I prefer those noth of laboratory modified; those tend to hath more synthetics than nature. If noth mistaken, bananas used to be small & poisonous until a tribe diligently modified them for several decades(?) to be safer to eat - enlarging them likely being a bonus. How long did it take to build the Scoville scale (obviously including the spicy fruits we love!!)? As we continue to genetically (by way of crossbreeding) modify for sweeter & spicier!!:green_heart::green_heart:

In mine opinion; organic isn’t honestly lack of synthetics… Just looking at what bears seeds isn’t exactly accurate; corn used to hath more than two ears/stalk until Monsanto, & whomever else, got their hands on our foods. When seedless foods can still grow viable fauna/plants, nature is still [evidently] fighting - why be we needeth give up any of our [rightful] striving/thriving fights? I wouldn’t be able to accurately identify which foods to stick/focus with/on - I’d rather recommend crossbreeding/cross pollinating those that flower to see what yi[z] come up with; splicing also gives possibilities of cross gene sharing. It’s, just as other interactions, compatibilities (word of mouth, & vague websearch of the tree with more than 40 splices). A diverse forest is noth only fertile for gardening/planting, it could be desired for splicing. Noth enough plant food in your opinion? Perhaps spread some equine/bovine dirt about the [forest] floor (hopefully the right community member hath the desired price for such); I’d spread it during Fall.
Seeds are less expensive than the plants, & the time it takes could be worth more than the harvest; drying, canning, & else helps keep in stores & many increases their benefits; cooking them also increases vitamins/minerals. If growing indoors, seasonal (unless needeth of that hybernation) could be year round (many question, yet forget the same species that grow in the warmer/hotter environments; many plants being extreme survivors also grow well in lower temperatures - yet, buying many of the extreme survivors (already sprouted) whence nurseries noth seem to survive in our care…
There’s also much they keep from us, as far as the herbs/seasonings/spices. Rosemary being a herb that helps with circulatory integrity; there’s [almost] noth overdosing - eat a palm full could help regulate heartburn/acid reflux. Lavender is also a circulatory integrity builder in addition to being a mood stabilizer & assistant for sleep - overdosing doth gets yi high, yet also will increase chances of sleep (similarly as cannabis). 3+ years from harvest helps stronger with sleep; cooking with it increases chances of sleep within 45 minutes of consumption. Nature helps take care of nature; regardless of the synthetics, & more, forced (& unlisted) into our foods (formaldehyde noth excluded), our bodies knoweth what to do - whilst with synthetics, our bodies tend to cycle it until it can’t find a use. Unfortunately, this could take years for to be ejected, looking like other ailments - likely our doctors [illegally] claiming noth knoweth what’s wrong. Our diets needeth meats just as much as plants; compatibilities & accuracies of physiologies be. The more abundant the plants in our diet/mealments, the longer we can go until the next needeth of nourishing; hydration obviously still be needeth paying attention to.
I doth mine best to be experimental with mine foods; being homeless tends to restrict certain nourishings; especially when the temperatures are sporadic. Carryings & storings be of extreme sagacious. When in a dwelling, I almost always use sea salt (chemically stripped salt noth welcomed in mine home!) - it helps tenderize the meat without having to take a mallet to it & flatten the muscle… saddening. 450°F at a minimum of (almost always) 4 hours, 8 hours usually at max. If of ground meat for browning, same temperature for ½ hour & cook it the rest of the way with the rest of the meal; I hate draining the fat & rinsing meat is digusting! Theyre also lyingbtonus about needing to wash our poultries/fouls; it actually adds bacteria. Cook at the higher temperatures & pay attention to the moisture levels throughout the cook time, & the needeth temperatures will be met; 450°F for two hours is long enough; I’ve never personally measured the temperatures for any of mine meats - hathn’t yet cooked turkey.
As obvious, herbs/seasonings/spices are nigh always determinant of the meal - unless else inspired; “unorthodox” congregating of ingredients to the basis. Marination almost always, in mine kitchen, includes alcohol &/or vinegar.:green_heart::green_heart: Acidics obviously adds tenderizer factors; also alcohol - I marinade no less than four days, & so far no more than six days. Each meal preparation usually feeds for five+ meals; comparing to four cup containers.
They (whomever) manipulate us to noth anticipate future meals, taking our root cellars away, putting false expirations on our foods & other consumptions; since when doth sea salt expire when it’s thousands of years eld fore it’s mined…?? Gems/stones are made of many of the same vitamins/minerals, yet noth expire…:thinking: Canned foods are viable & still edible at least five years from packing & could likely be just as ten years aft; needeth care when rust forms about… also take sips in the instances of fermentations. Kimshi & cheese being at least two processes & foods that take time & survive (when [obviously] stored properly) for several years - a wheel/brick of cheese just needeth rewaxing & kimshi a tight [airless] container (white mold not really desirable to consume, yet just an immune system booster (obviousies for those allergic)).
Something I love about peppers (bell peppers are more difficult unless cut up) is that they’re nigh easy to dry without molding - I use paper towels (or napkins, or a homemade drying rack), environmental air, & sometimes the sunlight through a window.
