Hello, we are interested in visiting you. We are traveling across the country to Colorado to visit each of our brothers who live there. A little bit about us: my name is Tarryn Torn (www.ttorn.xyz), and I use they/she pronouns. I currently live at an intentional community in Baltimore (corvuscommune.org). I am an artist, activist, musician, and for work I’m an animal ambassador teaching children about reptiles. Additionally, I am a founding member of Baltimore Free Farm (baltimorefreefarm.org). My boyfriend Eli uses they/them pronouns and is a teacher living in Maryland who has a strong interest in intentional living. We are hoping to be able to stay for one or two nights on our way across the country. We would love to lend a hand any way we can in exchange for the stay. If you have any questions about us, feel free to ask; we will be in town sometime during the week of July 29th to the 11th of August traveling.
Stops are hopefully around Ohio the 20th to 30th, then Chicago the 31st till the 1st of Aug, then around Kansas the 1st to the 2nd, then to my brother’s in Fort Collins, Colorado, where we will stay for 4 days. Leaving on the 7th of Aug, returning home, we will be stopping in maybe Kansas or Missouri, then heading south to Indiana and back up to Chicago, to around Ohio or West Virginia, then home.
On our way, we would love to visit with you at your intentional community, help out, share anecdotes, or whatever trade would be appropriate for such a thing. Please feel free to DM me or comment here if you’re open to having visitors!
