Seeking founding group for cohousing community Oregon

Hello!
I am looking for like minded folk to found a cohousing community with my husband and I next year. We are looking in Roseburg Oregon. We are a firefighter and an early childhood educator. We plan to steward the land, start a Forest school, practice regenerative ag, dabble in natural building/passive solar or other more sustainable practices and work together to build and maintain our many projects.

Some communities in that area which are further along that may or may not resinate with you are: Terra Lumen in Williams, Full Bloom Farm near Jacksonville, and there’s a community or two in Ashland, and the Rogue River Ecovillage.

Hello!
I wonder how your plan is coming together now? My husband and I are looking for property in rural areas near Roseburg, hoping to move from the Seattle area in the next year or two to build a home and hobby farm. We may be interested in helping start, or joining, a cohousing community. We’re in our fifties with kids fledging, are recently retired, healthy and eager to spend time outside, and interested in learning about sustainable land use, building, and energy.
