I want Advice on Getting Started with IC.org

Hey everyone,

I am new here at IC.org & started exploring the forums. I want to know What is the best way to get involved? Are there any threads or categories that you would suggest a beginner such as me to focus on? Also, any tips on how to contribute without feeling lost or out of place would be super helpful.

I am interested in learning coding and saw some discussions about a good Python tutorial if anyone has suggestion or favorites, I want to hear about those too!

Thank you.

What exactly are you looking/hoping to do? As far as navigating this forum, use tags, and your posts will show up under each.

Without advertising; there is prozemi on both Android & Apple. I’d also look for the eld QBasic instructions & run some self projects through Python - Genie (however accurately spelled) is an open source & freeware program for code editing. I’m also a strong advocate for Unix/Linux OSs; you’ll be saving thousands on printers, if yi knoweth where/how to find any needeth additional softwares (many times its still plug & play.
As far as navigating the site, I recommend perusing at any time yi feel hath noth ado. Choose a main category & scroll until something grabs your eye/attention; sometimes scrolling multiple times changes observation attention, noth wrong bouncing around the forum. Respond as needeth, & regardless of when posted (however obvious) sometimes help be when help present regardless at the time of identified needeth (if maketh any sense). I’m still a beginner, since about 2022, & continue to bounce abound the site.
Within the site’s policies, please doth your best to be your appropriate & best self (even though yi be having a bad day); we all needeth help & are works in progress. If looking for work, they are hiring; there’s a post questioning how many slots for that position here. Likely more to follow; & hope these help. God[s] bless/speed!!:love_you_gesture:
