Are we being censored on IC.org? Someone liked my commend in a post thread and replied to it. But because it was flagged for whatever reason, I never got to see the reply to my post. This is very concerning being that in community there needs to be open discussion… even when it is the hard topics. But this is a little crazy because I didn’t even get to see the message before it was flagged.
Hi @Shawnfruit39 Can you say more about what you commented on? Was it here in the discussion forum or on another post at ic.org? Censorship is not our aim at FIC. I suspect Discourse automations may have flagged a comment that we, as moderations, did not see in a timely manner. I’m happy to explore further with you and see if we can restore your comment.
Thank you for your reply Kim. Surprisingly the reply back to me is no longer blocked. It DID say temporarily blocked. But 8 days had gone by without me being able to see it. Yes it was flagged. Which I still think is a form of censorship? Anyways the response from from Elissafeldman. She liked my comment above in the post titled “How Do I Attract, Skilled, Driven Professionals to a community? “. I don’t know why the comment was flagged. Basically as she just replied that she would like to connect with me and she put her email and said that she is vegan like me and lived in Florida but now lives in Minnesota. At least it is resolved now. Hopefully she still responds back to my email to her now being that it has been so long. I also tried to message her when the reply was flagged and it didn’t go through.
