Ambitious 28 yr old seeking opportunities to learn skills (homesteading, off grid, permaculture, natural building, carpentry etc)

Looking for a place to learn farming, homesteading and construction skills. I don’t have formal carpentry experience, but I have done many small projects here and there from decks to small sheds in my 20’s so I can use most hand tools, measure, cut, drill/hammer. I’m 28, I have a college degree in engineering, worked in my field for a few years, did some property management work for less then a year, and have been working on farms and homesteads since February. No job too big or small but I need to be learning construction or other useful skills. I can provide many work references. I have a car, drivers license, clean record and can do a background check.

Would need a place to stay and some work trade agreement. From and currently in the New England area. Ready to move for the right opportunity.

Not vaccinated.

I’m passionate about nature, living in alignment with it and learning from it.

I don’t know if this is true, but I have read, … When two people meet in Europe, the first thing they ask each other is something about how they are, maybe what they enjoy. Americans, on the other hand, nearly always ask, … What do you do? Meaning what is your work/job.

IC is a site for folks wanting to make connections. Community is far more than just, “Here’s my job abilities, work ethic, skills”. Those are important in community, but just as important, maybe in some ways even more important, are what do you like to do. What are your hobbies, what do you like to do other than just work, -like singing, dancing, meditating, reading, etc.? What is your diet, and or Spiritual beliefs if any? Do you drink, do drugs, have whatever health concerns, special needs? ~Stuff about your life, who you are, what you like, what you prefer to not tolerate, gender, age, etc.?

~~So, alloush, maybe you would like to talk about/write about such things. Maybe it might lead to more responses.
