or, to put it another way, for the heck of it, I have a VISION for a community, the experience to maintain and sustain a viable agriculture project, the PASSION to work on it, for it, until I die… BUT I only lack the CAPITAL to realize this vision. So I must beg online for an existing community. I have even now offered to literally “sign my life away”. I will take all the steps that will hold me legally responsible for any “grift” or “fraud” that I would be perceived to have committed. A contract if you will.
This is how desperate I am. I do not possess the means to travel to places, let alone stay in a place for a few weeks or months, only to leave again. I have a one way ticket to anywhere on Turtle Island. I just need a community to take me in.
I just cannot think of any other way to pursue this dream. I contact communities, and I get ignored. I am not a scammer. I am not a fraud.
I am merely a penniless autistic individual with a deep passion to do the right thing.
Please help me help you.
Thank you.

Hey,
I see you have been searching for some time. Don’t give up though. We would gladly offer you a place in our community if we had one that was alive and buzzing. Just like you we are working towards the goal!!
I would say, rather then look here, join some facebook groups or local clubs, as I have. That introduced me to some of my co-parts in the adventure we call ‘finding community’ and these folks have helped me solidify the PVV ‘mission’ that is now much more well rounded and inviting! As an example, we get about 4-5 applicants per month now, but only now that we have a solidified plan, website, ‘brand’ for lack of better terms and something people can connect with.
We’re still a long ways off though. We still need folks who are more serious about building and design as well as folks who want to teach and grow our online educational platform. One thing I have learned, I’m 32, is that life moves slowly and if I want people to join me on this mission, I need to be very patient! Soo patient is what I will be!
No need for rallying cries, and I mean that respectfully. You will find your community, whether you find it, or it finds you. In the meantime stay positive, continue to hone in the skills you can offer a community and work on being the best person you can be and work on your own ‘brand’. IT WILL COME!!
In the meantime, check out our website and timeline, maybe you can see yourself as a fit. Right now were in the building stage and we’re looking to acquire more land very soon! We looking for visionaries, those that can show up to meetings and contribute regularly, committed folks who truly want an alternative to this crazy world we live in. Check out Peacefulvalleyvillage.com if you haven’t already!
