I’ve seen so many examples of white people attempting to be “open to diversity” or say they would share their resources, and it seems to continually end in community members of color being forced out either literally or put in situations that are psychologically harmful until we can’t stay. I’m wondering if there are any projects out there where BIPOC were really given their own land or leadership by white accomplices? Are there co-ops with white members with more resources that have successfully championed BIPOC needs and wisdom?
In my experience any white started or led co-op would basically have to give over leadership power or resources to BIPOC: to make the space safe the change has to come from those most marginalized. So many majority white co-ops just get started and are so white-centered it makes it near impossible for POC to come in equitably or safely.
I would love to see more white people with resources or land give over part of their land legally, or cede power to POC leadership. Would love to hear from BIPOC with good or bad experiences, and thoughts on how to find white allies to support such important projects.

Racism goes both ways. I as a Caucasian man have been on the receiving end of racism from a black person. I don’t say person of color because “ white “ people still are a color and it’s not even white. It doesn’t look white at all unless somebody is an albino. As for black or brown or red or whatever skin person being marginalized. I’d say it has more about their behavior rather than their skin color. I’m coming at this as a person who has been labeled as a person with ADD or neurodivergent. I don’t like being lumped into all these stupid categories. People are people and life is life. We should help each other no matter what whenever we can. But NOBODY is going to force that change. There are people that will literally die on the hill they stand on. No justice movement will change that. The only thing that will change people is people changing. And that change has to come from help from their maker. This isn’t even political. It is scriptural ( it’s actual scrolls because even scripture has been tampered with by the churches ). You can choose to accept that or just watch it happen. All the wars going on right now and all the division. Is literally in scripture. Even the Euphrates river dried up. That was professed. Look up the days of Noah. Everything that happened back then is happening now. Nothing new under the sun. Satan is ruler of this world. And there is only one savior. And that is your maker.
The best way to be sure that labeled white people are not white is to hold a piece of actual white paper up to their skin. NOT WHITE, not even close. As for marginalizing things…. science and technology want to break things down into every category they possibly can until we don’t even know what is what anymore. I don’t need to know every sub species of dolphin for example. I just need to know that dolphins exist and they are doing their thing and I’m doing my thing and nobody should harm them as they should not harm anybody. It really is that simple. Yet propaganda through social illusion and the wokeism wants to make everything about categories and claiming to help peoples trauma YET…… THERE IS INFIGHTING MORE SO… in the marginalized groups. The only solution to this is to literally help each other in the sense of making sure everybody has their basic needs met and showing general care for each other. Not kissing the feet of certain highlighted “ supposedly oppressed MORE “ . groups. I will never ever ever stop knowing that there is only man and women and that gay and trans and the alphabet soup is wrong! And it cannot and will not be forced to change. That is REALITY!
My brother-in-law has a higher degree than I, makes more money, and has a higher net worth. If he brought my sister and their two sons to a community I founded, is it your assertion that I should ask less investment capital from him than other investors just because of his skin color? I say “community I founded” because my participation in this forum should indicate that I’m more likely to found one than he, but he is at least as capable and probably more so of founding one than I if he were to choose.
All I know of are actual BIPOC communities, founded and run by same. IDEALLY it would help tremendously that the “dominate class” ie. white “Murica” actually DID give Land Back to those the land was stolen from, as well as those brought over here against their wills. Time will tell if this ever comes to pass. Keep naking noise about it.
As far as rascism, there is the outright BS rascism MOSTLY white, European descendants choose to continually perpetuate. The bias against whites coming from BIPOC is not the same type of overt, controlling, exploiting rascism that Europeans have spread through their societies for centuries now. Apples and Oranges.
I am white, and yet I am here, marginalized, amongst all People who are in the same predicament. I personally do not see a Person for their skin color, nor culture. I see a Person who has tried to navigate the current world order, here in the imperial core, most too tired and jaded to wish to force real, true, beneficial change. Here’s to hoping my experience here is not the norm, and that in other large US cities, movements for change are more broad and robust.
As far as “running off to the hills”, as many ICs seem to be want to do, I do not see this as helpful to force change as basing movements in neighborhoods and other areas where there are many more People. There, I said it.
