Hi! I’m Ren. I’ll be writing an introduction soon, but in the meantime, I want to share an opportunity to check out and meet the folks in a forming ecovillage in central NC, near Chapel Hill and Durham. The area is fortunate to have many flavors of long-existing and forming communities and we have been working on this one for many years. We have 112 beautiful acres, 80 acres of which is wooded and will remain so when we start building our homes. We are still accepting members: future neighbors and allies!
On October 22 we are having our 4th annual fall festival on our land which is family friendly and includes tours of the land and our future village. The hours are 2:30 pm to 5 pm so if you are in the area or planning to be and want to participate and say hello to us, please RSVP to welcome@commonground.eco.
