What do communities like this do to provide drinking water to everyone or is every one on their own?
Land-based intentional communities often buy land that has a well, or more than one, on it so there will be fresh water, piping infastructure can be built, though perhaps some communities do it old-school and everyone collects water from the well themselves, but more often there is piping put in in the building process. Our group is figuring out who of us can contribute to buying land re. the downpayment, and we all agree we want land with a well on it.
