Where at in NOLA? I’m currently “camped out” at the library downtown hoping for a miracle. Move sometimes over to near “Rebuild” on Gravier. Tough to venture out into the greater area bc too much stuff. Trying to sell some heavy stuff so my load’s not as heavy. Bearded hwyte guy with the big blue rolling bag and the wonderwoman blanket. HMU

I discovered a “hidden sanctuary” right in the middle of NOLA’s medical district, an abandoned/neglected property. I’m currently occupying a small corner in the backyard, and doing what I can by myself to “fix” it. It is currently totally overrun with a daisy (tickseed), morning glories, grasses, oxalis, and dayflowers, with tree volunteers here and there. I wish to convert the property into a yaupon farm and plant nursery, the Universe willing. I’ve been trying to entice People here through Craigslist, as well as this site. No takers so far. And, yes, good news that I escaped my sister’s clutches. Very good news. Now on to bigger and better and more productive things. Hopefully once I get this going, I can travel some. Still would love to go out there and visit. Hope all’s well with you and your community.

Sounds like a great plan! Yes, it is hard to find others who have the same faith that you do to create something out of nothing!
