My husband and I have been nomads for almost five years, living in an RV. We have also lived in Wisconsin, California, and on a boat for two years (Bahamas, Colombia, Panama). We are in our late fifties and wondering about a plan for “aging in place” - when we don’t have a place. We need a place. I want to live in a community of like-minded people. Real, genuine community. We feel at home with people who live unconventional lives. We are both introverts, and we struggle with small talk and big crowds. My dream right now is to form an intentional community for RVs and tiny homes, where community members will support each other in the aging process, while continuing to grow and explore.
