I am Marlena (49yo) and Tim is 60 years young. We live on 11 acres on the NM/AZ border. We raise goats, sheep, chickens, rabbits, turkeys, one horse, six dogs, and four cats. Our dogs are very important to us on our homestead, and we are not certain they would be open to have other dogs on the property. We would love to share our space with other like minded folk. We have been WWOOF hosts (and Marlena was also a WWOOFer in 2012.)

We live at 7500’ in a tiny community of 150 people that all mostly keep to themselves. We are off-grid with on-grid and generator backup, we catch our water from rain and snowfall.

We are offering an unfurnished 2 bedroom, 1 bath single-wide mobile home that has power, water, hot water and a wood-burning stove for heat. We own a business that is at another location that requires a lot of my time, and time away from our property. We are looking for others that enjoy the benefits of raising your own meat, eggs and access to goat and sheep milk. The more experience you have with livestock, the better! We are willing to teach you how to milk and tend to animals if you are unfamiliar.
