I must admit I’m perplexed by this post. So the idea would be to swap houses/rooms? Wouldn’t it be necessary for communities to okay the new person first? How long would these swaps be? I can imagine some communities finding it tiresome to have people swapping in and out back and forth?

The idea was to help people think about the options surrounding a swap. All of the details around any potential swaps would only involve the 2 households involved and the specifics of each community would determine what made sense. It would not work for all people/communities, but might work for some.
